Hi, my name is Jo and I'm potty about dogs !

I first started looking after friends dogs at home while they went away on their holidays and soon realised how lovely it was to have other dogs come and stay & play with our dogs, in fact it was a great way to socialise my older dog who then had slight issues with other dogs, needless to say she no longer has !

We have welcomed many a dog into our home and have had some real charactures come and stay and return home happy & waggy.

We like to keep it personal and not over crowd so for this reason we only ever take in no more than two dogs at a time so as to enjoy them as much as they come and enjoy their stay.

We live in the countryside and are surrounded by the River Adur and the stunning South Downs so we are never short of beautiful walks to go on. I have developed a great understanding of dogs needs over the years and am capable of dealing with the shy & nervous as well as the larger than life . I like to walk the dogs off lead as much as possible so I always look for walks that are safe and away from busy roads and I'm also able to accommodate those escapees that cannot be let off the lead. We get out and about no matter what the weather so you can rest assured your dog will be very well exercised. We also cater for the elder dog that just needs peace & quiet for their stay. We have many a happy returning waggy tails.

I am also a keen Canicross runner and I have been running cross country with our own dogs for a few years now, we even compete in running events. In October 2016 I ran the Beachy Head trail marathon with one of our dogs and we had a fantastic time. I am pleased to say we now offer a 'Dog Jogger' service designed for those dogs that need that little bit extra, from high energy dogs, over weight dogs and even dogs with socialisation issues. Its a great way to keep your dog fit and well and mentally stimulated and at the same time it has many health benefits such as muscle strengthening, delaying the onset of arthritic conditions and aiding a healthier heart and lifestyle all at the same time as having fun... so what's not to like there ? I am fully insured to run the dogs also.

Please do contact us with any inquires  or questions you may have.

About us

"Following a disastrous stay at the kennels in the summer for my dog I have been on the look out for a place where I can trust people to look after Maxi knowing that he will be well looked after. I could not have asked for a better person and a family to look after Maxi whilst we are away. He has already been booked for two holiday stays next year and Jo is now my No 1 choice to go to if I need dog boarding"

"I left my precious and very naughty dogs with Jo for 3 weeks last September. They have never been away from home before! I went to meet Jo beforehand and, straight away, felt comfortable with her home and knowledge of GSP's. The dogs had a whale of a time (Jo, not so much!!) and Dizzy had her first go at Canicross, even getting a medal at an event. Jo took great care of the dogs and took any problems in her stride. I would have no hesitation in recommending her boarding service - mine are going again in April!"
